You can move VEX project folder to another drive or another folder.
VEX specifies project folder when installed, so you can re-specify VEX project folder by uninstalling once, and then re-installing VEX. But if the project folder to be specified when installing VEX must be empty, please move it following the instructions below:
As an example, we will explain how to move VEX project folder(C:\VEX) in C drive
to D drive(D:\VEX) on VEX version 184.108.40.206.
After displaying Start Menu> Control Panel> Programs and Functions,
select VEX, and uninstall VEX.
To re-install VEX, start VEX setup module(VEXSetup_xxxx.exe).
Select "Newly Install" and select "Next(N)".
Select Browse button, and select the path for folder where VEX project is to be moved to.
*Please create the folder to move VEX to beforehand. Also, when moving VEX within the same drive,
please create a folder with a name other than the folder with VEX currently in it.
Ex. When specifying E drive "VEX" folder as the VEX project folder
Select the folder to move VEX to, and select "OK".
Check that the folder to move VEX to is specified, and select "Next(N)".
Input password in "Password" as well as "Confirm password", and select "Next(N)".
Select "Install(I)", and install VEX.
Uncheck Open VEX administration page, and select "Finish(F)"
［3］Move VEX project data
Move the desired folder to the folder specified when installing in Process.
Execute by Start>Specify file name and Execute, set "services.msc", and select OK.
When the service name "vex_postgres" is in progress, right-click>stop.
Change the name of VEX project folder specified when re-installing VEX in Process.
Ex. Change name of E drive "VEX" folder to "VEX_bk"
Copy the VEX project folder you are moving (C:\VEX) to E drive.
This is all for moving VEX project folder.
*Please delete the folder which you changed the name (VEX_bk), for it is not necessary.
