Test access is performed to check if page transitions of a target will be properly reproduced by the scenario you have created before actually performing a scan.
After setting up Handler, you should perform Test access for all the targets to make sure the settings are properly done (i.e. page transitions are properly configured) before starting a scan.
You will not get proper scan results if you perform a scan with Test access failed.
*The matched rate shown in the Test access result is just a guideline to determine whether it is successful or not.
So. you MUST review it carefully as described below after performing Test access.
[Steps to perform Test access and check the results]
1.Perform Test access by clicking the "Send" button in the Message ID of the target
For more details on the step, see Quick Start "18.104.22.168.2. <STEP2> Editing Handler Do test access".
2. Review the results
See either one of the following descriptions corresponding to your situation.
[When 100% matched rate is obtained in all the Message IDs]
Run Test access several times and make sure you still have the same result.
If you still have the same result, it is considered that Test access has been successful and the transition has been properly reproduced.
If you got a different result, see the other one.
[When 100% matched rate is NOT obtained]
Identify the first request that has failed to reproduce the transition.
Identify the "Pre processor" of the first page that fails the transition and modify the Handler.
Check the Test access result at the detail page, and verify if the difference (the low matched rate) was caused by the page transition failure.
There are some features helpful for the verification, see the above mentioned Quick Start or User Guide "4.8.7. Test access".
(1) The failure has occurred in the middle or at the end of the transitions
<Ex of Test access results>
Review the Message IDs that do not have the 100% matched rate in order and identify the first part where an error has occurred.
[Ex]Review Test access results
As shown in the above image, if you find errors by checking the Test access results, you will need to modify the Handler settings.
(Note that you need to fix the errors in order from the first one that occurs.)
For more detail, see Handler settings guide.
(2) You reviewed all responses, but no error was found.
When you reviewed all the Test access results and pages where the differences have occurred, but errors have not been found throughout the scenario, the page transitions are considered to be reproduced properly.
