Server Files scanning checks if a file exist or not using directory name, file name, extension information and the status code.
In general, when a page exists, status code 200 or 301 is returns. However, Depending on the Web site scanned, status code 200 or 301 may be returned even if there is no directory.
In this case, since Vex judges that a directory exists, it also scan its subordinates. Consequently, the scanning volume might increase.
In order to avoid this, please make the following setting. It can prevent to detect unnecessary pages.
For example: how to not detect Web pages which includes "Not found" in server response
1. Click "Server Scan" > Gear("Settings") icon
2. Set a specify character string that determines if detect or not a page in "Server Files scanning setting"
・ Set "!Not Found" in "Triggered text (directory)"
* "!" means nonexistence.
* It is necessary to specify the character string has been actually included in the response from the server.
In case to set above while Server Files scanning, please pause the scan and restart after setting completed.
