Vex provides three signature groups: "Recommend signature group", "All signature group" and "Speed prioritized signature group".
By default, "Recommend signature group" is selected.
If you select "Speed prioritized signature group", the system automatically detects parameters that may have been unused and removes them from the scanning scope.
The number of parameters to be scanned can be reduced efficiently, thereby reducing the scanning time.
*The signatures in the "Speed prioritized signature group" are the same as those in the "Recommend signature group".
To detect parameters to be skipped, Vex sends several patterns of requests including scanning values and checks if there are any differences in the responses to determine if the parameters have been used for processing on the server side.
This method is effective from the viewpoint of reducing the number of parameters to be scanned in order to shorten the scanning time. However, we cannot guarantee that you will get the exactly same result as when all the parameters are scanned since this setting is based on the mechanical determination.
